This site uses a small number of cookies and local storage entries strictly to make features work. None of them are used for cross-site tracking or advertising.

What’s stored

• Theme preference - your choice of light or dark mode for the blog and other editorial pages. Stored in localStorage so it survives page reloads.
• Admin session - when signed into the admin dashboard, a short-lived httpOnly cookie keeps you authenticated. Cleared when you sign out or after 12 hours of inactivity.

Analytics

When analytics is enabled in production, it’s configured to respect your browser’s Do Not Track preference. The provider and exact behavior will be documented here once the backend ships.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time via your browser’s settings. Doing so will reset preferences (e.g. theme) and require re-authentication for admin features.
